PPE Inspector for Industry

No one knows your PPE and life safety gear like the people who manufacture and distribute it. Vertical Rescue Solutions™ by PMI™ can give you and your employees the information and resources to maintain, inspect and set up a PPE usage documentation program for the gear you trust your life to.

This is an eight hour certification program designed to meet the OSHA guidelines for the establishment of a Competent Inspector for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) within a given organization. The course will offer instruction on how to inspect, store, care for and document the use of rope, webbing, harnesses, helmets and connectors. Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to set up and implement a gear inspection, use and retirement program for their organization. The proper fit and usage of PPE, and PPE for specialized applications will be covered as well.

The PPE Inspector for Industry certification is valid for two years. All participants who complete the course receive a Completion Certificate and photo ID Card.
